Adopt an SME

In Mexico there are several programs, both government and large companies, that seek to support the growth of these SMEs. Such is the case of 100 small producers who participate in Walmart's Adopt an SME program .



Starting last year, when they positioned their products in Walmart chain stores and received advice and support as part of the program, these 100 small businesses have registered a 25% increase in sales on average, managing to improve their commercial conditions.

Last year alone, Walmart invested 1,572 man Canadian Hospitals Email List hours to train these SMEs in administrative and commercial skills and business plans, as well as promotion of their products and analysis of market and sales behavior.



The week of February 16, 48 of the 100 companies participating in the program presented their products in the SME 2015 Pavilion , which was inaugurated by the president of the National Entrepreneur Institute , Enrique Jacob. Some of the entrepreneurs shared their experience with us as part of the program, as well as some advice so that companies that are just starting out can get ahead:



1.- Seek government initiatives that provide facilities and credits for SMEs, and invest in technology and/or materials to improve the production process.





2.- Approach programs such as Adopt a SME , which go hand in hand with the small producer, advising them on different aspects that will guide them to the growth and insertion of their product in the market, competing with international brands.



3.- Take training courses and workshops on topics that contribute to the growth of your business , from financial, quality, raw materials; even technology, sales and market trends.
